]]> We've just made our first investment in the two mutual funds working in accordance with the WWF guidelines: SEB Baltic Sea Fund and Skandia WWF Fund (you can read more about the funds in our About page). Both funds have had a terrible year since they've lost about 40% of their value in a year, but we now believe it's a good time to invest and that they will develop perfectly. this will not be a one time investment, but Xavier Media will of course invest a part of their profits each year in this kind of funds.

Hopefully this investment will grow alot and help WWF contribute to a better world or as they say it "for a living planet". I will do a few posts here to keep you all updated on the development (which we all hope will be good from this point). We also hope that the world economy has reach the rock bottom for this time.

When I setup this site I started wondering why we don't see any of the other big buys in the blogsphere do something similar? They all list their profits, but they never speak about any kind of donations to WWF or any other organization dedicated to save our planet :???:.

For example John Chow made over $38 000 in September 2008, but from what I know I've never seen any post about him donating any money to WWF or any similar organization :( . Why? My guess is that he's too cheap to share his profits with our planet.
